The Red Door Bistro is independently owned. We opened our big red door in 2011 With a small team of just 2! Myself,Jayne and daughter Aimee. We still have a tiny team all of whom are passionate about food and dedicated to providing exceptional service and a friendly warm welcome.

Tucked away on College Avenue, opposite the Town Hall, this little Bistro is a haven from the hustle and bustle of the main town centre.So weather its a 3 course meal or nibbles and cocktails in the lounge bar,vibrant,elegant but informal; we think Red Door Bistro is the perfect local restaurant and we hope you do too.

At the Red Door Bistro, we are here to help you host your event and make it a seamless and stress free occasion.

We offer fully tailored packages in our restaurant where we can offer the luxury of private dining for up to 32 guests. Our upstairs lounge bar also seats 24 and is Perfect for birthdays, special occasions, baby showers, work do’s, meetings, wine and cheese nights, poetry nights,and book club meetings.

Situated just across the way from Wigan Town Hall we are the perfect venue for hosting your wedding or christening too.
